The Orbra Company is an African Business development company based in Abuja Nigeria. Our goal is to build Africa by solving key challenges faced within the continent one industry at a time by leveraging technology and innovation. We do this by supporting entrepreneurs who leverage innovation and technology with their products and services, to create inclusive and sustainable economic prosperity in Africa. We are bridging the gap between Africa's potential and her reality.
Building The Future Today
It is our responsibility to build the future today. If we don't, no one else will. The challenges faced should not just remain challenges, but opportunities for us to build a sustainable future. This is why we do what we do and we urge everyone who can to do the same.
Our Theory Of Change
We believe that the solutions to the challenges faced in Africa have to be private sector-led. This is because the private sector is motivated by profit and competitive advantage. If we help drive more private sector investments into solving these challenges and incentivize them with profit and healthy competitions, there will be more social-good innovations which will solve most of Africas’ challenges. On the other hand, we also believe that the public sector (government) has a role to play in Africa’s development, by creating an enabling environment for the private sector to innovate and thrive. We are also working with the public sector to bridge the gap between the private and public sectors.
